This document outlines the standards for providing photos of fingers and palms when capturing them by oneself, in order to ensure image quality and data consistency, which will help generate more accurate silicone fingers/palms.

1. Photo Shooting Environment

1.1 Lighting Requirements

  • Lighting should be even, with no visible shadows.

  • Lighting conditions must be consistent across all photos.

1.2 Background Requirements

  • The background must be white (e.g., white paper, white drawing board).

  • The background in each photo should cover the entire frame except for the finger, as much as possible.

2. Equipment Parameters

2.1 Recommended Equipment

  • Use a smartphone or camera with a high-resolution camera and AI capabilities.

  • Ensure the camera is steady and focused.

2.2 Shooting Specifications

  • Resolution: Between 4K and 8K (frame length no less than 4096 pixels and no more than 8192 pixels), no aspect ratio restriction, but each frame must include the entire finger.

  • File format: JPEG or PNG.

  • Exposure: Maintain consistent exposure across all photos (lock exposure to avoid auto-adjustment by phone), accurate color reproduction not necessary, but lighting must be the same for each shot.

3. Shooting Subject Requirements

3.1 Finger Photos (refer to provided sample for food-holding posture)

  • Side view of the finger:
    Try to shoot at a perpendicular angle to the finger's side, focusing on the finger's front texture and details to ensure clarity.
